BMO STUDIO THEATRE
With its cozy yet modern vibe, it’s the perfect spot to soak in the Fringe energy.
Located at 112 Princess Street, the BMO Studio Theatre is the heartbeat of the Fundy Fringe Festival. As the proud home of the Saint John Theatre Company, this versatile performance space sets the stage for incredible live performances and music.
Accessibility:
The performance space is a 100-seat studio-style venue on the second floor of the building. Patrons can use stairs or elevators to access the space. Seating in the venue can be removed for wheelchair users. Gender neutral washrooms are located on the main floor, and gendered washrooms are on the second floor.
IMPERIAL THEATRE (Upper Lobby)
An inviting and intimate space perfect for catching a Fringe show.
Located at 12 King Square, Imperial Theatre is Atlantic Canada's most beautiful and historic venue for live performance hosting performers from all over the world.
Accessibility:
Capacity is between 45-50 maximum, there will be 30 seats available, and the rest will be standing. Patrons can access the upper lobby by stairs or elevator and washrooms are located on the same level.
Saint John High School Mini Theatre
A small-scale theatre in Canada's oldest public high school.
Saint John High School takes up the block between Duke/Queen and Canterbury/Prince William, and the entrance nearest the Mini Theatre is at 149 Canterbury St.
Accessibility:
Capacity 110. The Mini Theatre is located in the basement of Saint John High School. The entrance on Canterbury Street is step-free, and there is elevator access to the basement.
Saint John Arts Centre (Tompkins Hall)
A unique theatre space in a beautifully restored heritage building.
Located at 20 Peel Plaza, the Saint John Arts Centre is a multidisciplinary venue housed in the historic Carnegie Building which was constructed in 1904 as a public library. The Tompkins Hall theatre space will be used for this year’s festival.
Accessibility:
Capacity: 40. The Saint John Arts Centre is fully accessible, with wheelchair-accessible entrances from Carleton Street and Peel Plaza, elevator access to all three levels, accessible non-gendered washrooms, and seating throughout the building. A folding wheelchair is available upon request.
